1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TradeNest, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including buyers, sellers, and visitors.
2. Platform Description
TradeNest is a B2B marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of goods across Africa and globally. We provide the platform and tools for users to list products, discover suppliers, and communicate — but we are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to post listings or contact sellers. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use TradeNest.
4. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including product descriptions, pricing, and availability. Sellers must not post counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited goods. Sellers must respond to buyer inquiries in a timely manner. Misrepresentation of products or fraudulent activity will result in immediate account termination.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use TradeNest to post spam or misleading listings, harass or abuse other users, attempt to circumvent our ranking or verification systems, scrape or copy platform data without permission, post illegal products or services, or impersonate another person or business.
6. Badges & Subscriptions
TradeNest offers paid badges (Verified, Gold) that provide additional features and visibility. Payments are processed by Stripe. Badge subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to revoke badges for violations of these terms.
7. Intellectual Property
TradeNest and its content, features, and functionality are owned by TradeNest and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform without permission. By posting content on TradeNest, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and promote that content on the platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
TradeNest is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any transactions between buyers and sellers, or for any loss or damage arising from use of the platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon termination, your listings will be removed from the platform.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
