1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TradeNest, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. TradeNest is operated by Fadiga Shungu, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
2. Platform Description
TradeNest is a B2B marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of goods and services, primarily serving East Africa and global markets. We provide the platform infrastructure but are not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to post listings or contact sellers. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
4. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including product descriptions, pricing, and availability. Sellers must honor inquiries and transactions in good faith. Fraudulent listings, spam, or misrepresentation will result in immediate account suspension.
5. Prohibited Activities
You may not use TradeNest to post illegal products, counterfeit goods, or services that violate applicable laws. You may not spam other users, manipulate rankings, or engage in fraudulent transactions. Violations may result in permanent account termination.
6. Payments & Fees
TradeNest charges a 3% platform fee on transactions processed through our payment system (Pesapal). Boosted listings and badge upgrades are subject to additional fees as listed on our Pricing page. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
7. Intellectual Property
TradeNest and its logo are the intellectual property of Fadiga Shungu and TradeNest. Users retain ownership of content they post but grant TradeNest a license to display and distribute that content on the platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
TradeNest is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or transactions with other users. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed on the platform.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes between buyers and sellers should first be resolved directly between the parties. TradeNest may assist with mediation but is not obligated to resolve disputes. These terms are governed by the laws of Tanzania.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of TradeNest after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
